It was the 2nd time team Xray Singapore present at this high level of racing in Malaysia, after more than 2 hours of driving.

We finally reached the 35+ sec laps track very demanding on car, it’s setup and engine performance. Many top drivers around the region were racing here and we also had friends from Australia with many brands of cars such as Hobao, GS, kyosho, Mugen, Thunder Tiger, XRAY and more competing.

In round one of heat 2 Kenny Chua (from Singapore) with his OS/kyosho 777 set the 12 laps at 7.35 sec. However, by round one of heat 6 Sam Cheng, with his RB/XB8 posted a TQ time of 12 laps 7.25 sec with the last 12 lappers from Malacca David Lim and the rest of the field with 11 laps.

In the A final Sam Cheng took the early lead but Kenny Chua soon pursued Sam closely and Sam made a mistake by going too fast at the woops jump and the car went side way and that allowed Kenny to hold the lead for couple of laps. However, Kenny suddenly overturned his car over a jump and with that Sam managed to pass him and took back the lead since then Sam never look back and finished the 30 mins A final.
